Warhammer Online Delayed Once Again

It looks like the long development process for Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning (WAR) will get just a bit longer. Eurogamer is reporting that EA has pushed the release date from Q2 2008 to an even more ambiguous "Autumn" release window. Warhammer Online was originally due to be released Q1 of this year; however, EA Mythic boss Mark Jacobs said the delay would allow the studio to "invest additional time and effort in implementation and polish to make WAR great."
With the slew of MMO's being released these days I can safely say that I'm happy the game has been delayed. Some gamers complain about game delays and argue that somehow the developer has cheated them by not releasing a game on time. This is an outright idiotic complaint. A delay can only serve to improve a game's quality and refine it's gameplay...although don't hold your breath for Duke Nukem Forever. Regardless, if an MMO is going to have any chance at competing with a giant like WoW, it sure as hell better be polished.
